Tomorrow’s April Fool’s day! I’m so excited, lol. I never do any pranks, though I do end up falling for a few, only if they’re really good/someone who’s always serious. And this year we’re actually in school! :D Anyways, I think I’m more excited to see what’s going to happen in school & what all of the websites I use everyday will turn into. I remember last year Google changed into “Topeka,” and deviantART changed all of our icons & signatures to stuff with like Edward and Jacob. xD Tumblr didn’t do anything though…maybe this year? ;D
I’m so exhausted. I got 3.5 hours of sleep last night to study for my two tests. One test I already know my grade (not so good), while the other one didn’t even happen. Ugh. Time to keep volunteering/then go work on a paper. Fun stuff.
Got a bank account today. That was weird, but cool.
It felt strange filling out the deposit slips and stuff, like I was grown up or something. And then soon I’m going to be driving and all. Dang. I feel so old.
On the bright side, the Elite Eight started today. Butler & UCONN are now in the Final Four! :) I’m so glad OSU’s out. Lol. I hope that UNC and Kansas win. And then as long as Butler loses, I think I’ll be okay. March Madness has been so strange this year.
Hi guys. Today, as you might know already, is Earth Hour. I think I’m going to participate this year, which just means that I have to really focus and make up for an hour of lost light.
If you don’t know what it is, it’s a really good cause. Basically today, Saturday March 26, 2011, at 8:30PM, lights will be turned off all around the world. If you want more information, look at their YouTube page or their website.
Spread the news around! It’s all for a great cause. :) I connected the info to my Twitter, so when 8:30 comes, my Twitter profile picture will turn dark.
Day 26: What are some little things that make you feel warm and fuzzy?
Receiving something that I wanted without asking, planning a vacation, coming home on a Friday, singing along to songs, learning how to play a song by ear on the piano/violin, when iTunes is giving away a free song that I wanted to buy but didn’t have the time to, when people like my writing, Starbucks frappuccinos, when everything seems to go perfectly, laughing with the people you care about the most.
I ran out of my house at like 12:30 to get there on time. I was up against all of these other kids that had really complicated experiments so I wasn’t expecting anything out of this. I beat one kid who did stuff with radiation, but didn’t beat the other 3 kids. One did stuff with the phosphorus content in water with some really fancy sounding plant name. Another did stuff with like oil and dispersant, relating it to the BP oil spill. And the last kid did stuff with tumor cell lines. UHM OKAY. My experiment was on plants…like I just put them in my basement and watched them grow. -__-, but I beat 8 other kids. So whatever, I’ll take 4th place!
Well that means I’m not moving onto the next round, but I heard it was boring anyways. The good part out of all of this was that I got a special award. :) I got it from some random gardening company and now I have $50 to use. :D
